Tied up with strange journals

An update has arrived from the search for the world's most outstandingly obscure journals. Jonathan Adams, managing director of consultants Evidence, was called in to validate the publications database for the 2001 research assessment exercise. Among the journals he encountered were: Extremophiles, The Journal of Knot Theory and its Ramifications and Inverse Problems .
