V-c pays for scholarship

Vice-chancellors who pump their alumni for cash for scholarships have been set an example by Diana Green, who is funding one herself as part of Sheffield Hallam University's tenth anniversary celebrations. She is to support a female student in a traditionally male area such as computing, management science or maths - leading perhaps to a male-dominated job such as a vice-chancellorship.
