Visas, travel restrictions, support for international students – these were just some of the topics covered in a webinar hosted by ߣߣÊÓÆµ and AECC Global this week. 

Students from all over the world were given the opportunity to grill a panel of experts about everything they wanted to know about studying in ߣߣÊÓÆµ, especially during this strange and confusing time. 

Phil Honeywood, ‎chief executive officer of the International Education Association of ߣߣÊÓÆµ (IEAA), reassured students that despite the coronavirus pandemic, ߣߣÊÓÆµ was still a good destination for students considering studying abroad and that there were plans to start allowing international students to arrive soon. 

Tania Rhodes-Taylor, vice-principal (external relations) at the University of Sydney, shared how her university had adapted to online teaching and outlined a scheme ensuring that international students had a student mentor to guide them through settling in. 

Daryl Fong, chief operating officer at AECC Global, explained what applications look like right now and how AECC Global could support international students throughout the application process. 

There was also a presentation from THE's student content editor, explaining how students can use the THE World University Rankings and Impact Rankings to find a university in ߣߣÊÓÆµ.
