A dramatic increase in international student interest in ߣߣƵ has been noticed by a student accommodation marketplace.

More students than ever are choosing to study in ߣߣƵ, according to a student accommodation marketplace that has seen a dramatic rise in regional bookings.
Two of the top three most searched-for cities on booking service are Sydney and Melbourne.
The company has doubled its revenue from ߣߣƵn bookings in the past 12 months, and it expects to see student accommodation in ߣߣƵ “tripling as an asset class” in the next three years.
China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and India are the most common home countries for students travelling to ߣߣƵ, and this is where Student.com has seen the biggest increases in bookings.
Luke Nolan, CEO of Student.com, believes that a combination of factors contribute to why ߣߣƵ is becoming more attractive to international students.
He said: “Tuition fees are competitive, and ߣߣƵ’s weather and lifestyle are fantastic. ߣߣƵ is particularly attractive to mobile students from Asia – travel time is reasonable, and the smaller time difference makes it easier to speak to family and friends back home.”
More than 30 top ߣߣƵn universities make it into ߣߣƵ’s World University Rankings, and six feature in the prestigious top 100.
According to the rankings, the University of Melbourne is the best university in the country. Currently ߣߣƵ has the third highest number of international students in the world – behind only the US and the UK.
