Holy Cross of Davao College is a private Catholic educational institution located in Davao City, Philippines. It was established in 1951 by the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary and is currently operated under the Archdiocese of Davao.
The college operates across three campuses. The main campus on Santa Ana Avenue houses undergraduate, graduate and technical vocational programmes. A second campus on Jose P Laurel Avenue provides basic education. A third campus in the Island Garden City of Samal supports undergraduate study. Across these sites, the institution provides education from basic to higher education level alongside community extension work.
Academic provision is organised into six main units: the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Communication, the School of Teacher Education, the School of Business and Management Education, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Maritime Education, and the College of Criminal Justice Education.��

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, commercially focused scientist to strengthen our research, innovation and industry engagement in nanoparticle formulations incorporating biologicals, processing and scale up linked to the BRITE project��https://briteprogramme.co.uk/. This role is ideal for an individual with strong scientific credentials who is motivated to translate research into practical guidance, industrial collaboration and impact.

The post will support LJMU’s strategic aim to deliver applied research, consultancy, and collaborative projects that inform real-world development, manufacturing and scale-up decisions, with the production of white paper/s,

The role is for 12 months and will focus on understanding and mitigating aggregation and particle formation in biologics, with research themes including:


	How formulation variables (excipients, surfactants, buffers, lipids) drive instability and particle risk
	Where instability is introduced during manufacturing and scale up (mixing, filtration, chromatography, fill finish, storage)
	Developing integrated, risk based frameworks to predict and reduce particle formation across development and manufacture

Full-time Research Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education (Ref.:536916)

Applications are invited for the captioned post. The successful candidate will be involved in a specific research project related to hearing health management.

This Research Assistant Professor��position for a large-scale hearing Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) is responsible for leading the scientific design, oversight, and execution of the study while managing research staff and ensuring rigorous data integrity.

Applicants should possess a��PhD or equivalent doctorate��in audiology, hearing science, or a related field, combined with��proven experience��in managing research projects. They should have a strong publication record��in auditory research and demonstrate a keen interest in hearing screening and/or hearing device fitting. Experience in managing complex, multi-site clinical trials and supervising interdisciplinary teams will be advantageous.

The appointee will be responsible for developing and refining scientific protocols, overseeing��data collection and analysis using advanced statistical software (e.g.,��SPSS, STATA, R), and ensuring compliance with��international standards. He/She must demonstrate strong��English communication skills��and be able to understand Chinese, preferably Cantonese.

Job duties:


	Develop a research protocol for a large-scale RCT study that involves hearing screening, hearing device fitting and other interventions, and outcome measurement
	Manage the research project including data auditing, ethics application, and staff training in hearing screening
	Prepare test materials, analyze data, and provide staff training on issues related to hearing devices
	Write specifications and assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in hearing device tendering processes
	Work with the PI and investigators on an intervention package and developing a manual for scaling the outcomes of the project for use in primary healthcare and community settings
	Document and report research findings, for example, via presentations at local and international conferences and peer‑reviewed publications in top‑tier journals
	Perform other duties as assigned


The appointment will commence on 1 November 2026 and end on 31 October 2029, on a three-year fixed-term basis.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary. 	PhD in in botany, ecology, conservation biology, environmental science or other professional qualifications relevant to these disciplines.
	Demonstrated commitment in participating in high quality research evidenced by publications of high quality in peer-reviewed and respected scholarly journals
	Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles.��
	Experience in ecological restoration and/or conservation science, including field-based research.
