Originally founded in Chicago in 1913, Judson University is an evangelical Christian university that is now located in Elgin, Illinois, and home to over 1,250 students from all over the world.
The college was established in Illinois in 1963 and is named after Adoniram Judson, the first American missionary abroad. Today the 90-acre campus is located in the shores of the Fox River and contains more than 20 buildings, including four residence halls, a 700-seat chapel, a fine arts centre and a fitness centre. There is also a small branch campus in Rockford, Illinois, which is exclusively for adult professional students.
There are more than 65 majors and minors available at Judson University and it is the only private Christian university in the United States to offer a graduate program in architecture.
The School of Art, Design & Architecture, the School of Business & Professional Studies, and the School of Liberal Arts, Sciences & Education are the three major academic schools for undergraduates, while graduate degrees are also offered in a variety of subject fields.

Qualifications


	Minimum Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or closely related disciplines with particular focus on cryptography and/or cybersecurity.
	Minimum 4 years of relevant research experience in cryptography.
	Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Rust and Python will be positively considered/ is required.
	Proven track record and professional experience in cryptography.
	Demonstrated experience and know-how on analyze the security of an algorithm.
	Excellent working knowledge of zero-knowledge proof.
	Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
	Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
	Applicants with research publications in cryptography/cybersecurity area will be advantageous.

As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. 

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry innovation research project where you will be part of the research team to investigate the effect of explosions and impacts on thin steel plates.

 

Key Responsibilities


	All jobs are accountable for producing a range of outputs or end-results. Please state the major activities carried out to achieve the end results (what needs to be done to achieve the end results)
	Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. 
	Undertake these responsibilities in the project: 
	i.    Coordinates with collaborators and service provider the organization and execution of blast and impact tests. Ensure the required data is collected and that it is analysed as needed
	ii.    Conduct numerical simulations using LS-Dyna and OpenRadioss to further the understanding of the phenomena and calibrate empirical/analytical models.  
	Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations.
	Coordinate procurement and liaison with vendors/suppliers.
	Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
	To communicate with any internal and external stakeholders required to meet the project deliverables.
	Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor.


 

Job Requirements


	Have relevant competence in the areas of Finite Element simulations and experimental work
	Have a degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Possessing a Master’s or PhD degree will be advantageous
	Knowledge of shock mechanics and protection engineering will be advantageous
	Knowledge of non linear materials modelling would be advantageous

About the Role

The University of Newcastle is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology to contribute to the delivery and development of the Master of Exercise Physiology program. Fully accredited by Exercise and Sport Science ߣߣ��Ƶ (ESSA), the program prepares graduates to prevent, treat and manage chronic health conditions and injuries through evidence-based exercise interventions.

You will deliver engaging postgraduate teaching, contribute to curriculum development aligned with ESSA standards and evolving clinical industry needs, and support innovation in learning and assessment. The role also includes developing an independent research profile, attracting external funding, building industry partnerships, and contributing to the academic life of the School and College.

Depending on appointment level, you may also undertake program coordination and broader leadership responsibilities.

About You

You are a collaborative and forward-thinking academic who is passionate about preparing the next generation of exercise physiologists. To be successful in this role, you will have:


	Completion of a doctoral qualification in Clinical Exercise Physiology or cognate discipline. Accreditation (or demonstrated eligibility) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science ߣߣ��Ƶ.
	Demonstrated record of publication in high-quality outlets including evidence of international and national research collaborations and/or partnerships.
	Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality teaching as indicated by internal and external surveys and outcomes for students that will improve or innovate in response to feedback.
	Demonstrated ability to contribute to curriculum development at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels, taking responsibility for the preparation and delivery of course modules and coordinating one or more courses, including collaboration in curriculum design and delivery where appropriate.
	Ability to efficiently perform in allocated internal roles, sharing academic service responsibilities, contributing to outcomes of internal committees, and developing external collaborations.

The School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy (SBSP) is one of four schools within the College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing. Teaching and educational contributions
