Malatya Turgut Ozal University is a public university located in Malatya, Turkey. The university was formed in 2018.
It is named after Turgut Ozal, the eighth President of Turkey, who was born in Malatya and is remembered for his contributions to the country’s modernisation.
The university comprises several faculties, including the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, and Faculty of Islamic Sciences. In addition to this, the university also has an institute, two colleges, and eight vocational schools.
The campus has several modern facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, a library, student residences, and recreational centres.
Several workshops and community outreach programmes are organised throughout the year to help students connect to the local communities.
