Phenikaa University is located in Vietnam’s capital city, Hanoi, and was established in 2007. It has strong links with industry, and the Phenikaa Group links businesses with educators and researchers to encourage innovation in Vietnam. There are 13 faculties across the university: information technology; automotive engineering and energy; medical engineering; nursing; tourism; materials science and engineering; electronics; economics and business; pharmacy; mechatronics; biotechnology, chemistry and environmental engineering; basic science; and English. Across these departments, there are a range of courses on offer, which include business administration, banking, materials technology, automotive engineering, biotechnology, accountancy and English language. Postgraduate options are also on offer at Phenikaa University through master’s courses in economic management, business administration, construction engineering and nursing.

Applications are now invited for the following post: Associate Professor of Teaching / Assistant Professor of Teaching / Senior Lecturer School of Graduate Studies (Post Ref.: 25/30) The School of Graduate Studies (GS) is established for strengthening the central support for postgraduate programmes as well as the monitoring of their quality in alignment with the University’s strategic direction of expanding and providing quality postgraduate education. The GS is expanding its scope of research and knowledge transfer programmes in promoting multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research and development projects related to Policy Studies and Management, Health Studies, International Higher Education, Policy and Management and Urban and Housing Studies. The GS is searching for staff who can support research, teaching and knowledge transfer activities in the following areas: Education Management Internationalisation and Quality Management in Higher Education International Higher Education Public Management and Administration Public and Social Policy Research Methods The appointees will be mainly responsible for (a) engaging in teaching and learning activities; (b) supporting academic programme coordination and management; (c) organizing research events (e.g., conferences and seminars) and knowledge transfer activities; and (d) contributing to other administrative matters as assigned by the supervisors. General Requirements Associate Professor of Teaching Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in the related discipline; (ii) at least five years of relevant experience in teaching; and (iii) track record in academic programme development and/or management. Assistant Professor of Teaching Applicants should have (i) relevant postgraduate qualifications in the related discipline; and (ii) substantial relevant work experience in programme co-ordination and teaching, preferably at postgraduate level. Senior Lecturer Applicants should have (i) relevant postgraduate qualifications in the related discipline; (ii) substantial relevant experience (normally not less than 8 years), and (iii) experience in course development. For all of the above posts, applicants should have strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills. Preference will be given to candidates with strong track records in teaching and programme management in the above-mentioned areas. Evidence of contributions to the scholarship of teaching, in the form of teaching-related grants, publications and conference presentations, will be viewed positively. The appointees are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and services to the GS and the University community. Description The Mubadala Arabian Center for Climate and Environmental Sciences (ACCESS) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for an Associate Research Scientist to lead innovative research investigating coral–microbe interactions and the mechanisms that underpin coral resilience to environmental stress in the Arabian Gulf and other extreme reef environments.  An Associate Research Scientist typically holds a PhD or equivalent terminal degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in their field (not including the years obtaining the PhD or equivalent terminal degree). The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of marine ecologists, microbiologists, oceanographers, climate scientists, and conservation practitioners working to advance scientific understanding of coral reef resilience and support evidence-based conservation and restoration efforts across the region. Terms of employment include a highly competitive salary and benefits package. The position will also involve conducting fieldwork throughout the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, coordinating with governmental and external partners, mentoring undergraduate students, research assistants, and junior staff, and contributing to the broader scientific mission and visibility of ACCESS and NYU Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong publication record, experience designing and leading independent research projects, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary research teams. Experience working in coral reef ecosystems, particularly in extreme reef environments such as the Arabian Gulf, is highly desirable. Additional experience in multi-omics approaches, laboratory management, student mentorship, and collaborations with governmental or conservation organizations will be considered an advantage.
