Shahrisabz State Pedagogical Institute is a public higher education institution established on 24 June 2022 by presidential decree in Uzbekistan. It was formed by transforming the Pedagogical Institute of Karshi State University into an independent institute.
Previously, the Karshi branch had operated under Tashkent State Pedagogical University from the 2019-2020 academic year. The institute is located in Shahrisabz, Kashkadarya region.
The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in pedagogy, preschool and primary education, fine arts and engineering graphics, music education, Uzbek and foreign languages and literature, technological education, psychology, geography, physics, astronomy, history, and social and humanities studies.
The campus serves over 9,500 students, with three dormitories housing 1,360 students. Dormitories are equipped with new beds, furniture, kitchens, laundry facilities, toilets, and spiritual rooms with literature and computers.
Student life is supported through community clubs, sports facilities, health care services, accessibility for students with disabilities, and social rooms.
